Built around Saudi e-invoicing requirements
ezzprx's E-Invoicing module is designed to support ZATCA's e-invoicing regulations for issuing, formatting, and archiving tax invoices.
What Saudi e-invoicing requires
ZATCA's e-invoicing regulation is rolled out in phases and requires invoices to carry specific structured data, not just a printed layout. The E-Invoicing module is designed to support these requirements as part of your regular invoicing workflow.
QR Code
Every simplified tax invoice carries a QR code encoding the seller name, VAT number, timestamp, invoice total, and VAT amount — scannable for instant verification.
TLV Encoding
The QR code data is structured using Tag-Length-Value (TLV) encoding, the format ZATCA's e-invoicing system expects for simplified invoices.
ICV — Invoice Counter Value
A sequential counter that increases with every invoice issued, so no invoice number can be skipped or reused undetected.
PIH — Previous Invoice Hash
Each invoice is cryptographically linked to the one before it, forming a chain that makes silent edits to past invoices detectable.
Archiving
Invoices are stored in a structured, retrievable format to support the recordkeeping expected under e-invoicing regulations.
